The time has come to prepare for our trip to Delhi, India and with it our first attempt at blogging. Our names are Alli, Lacey, Megan, and Stephanie and we are fourth year medical students at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. In deciding what rotations to do our last year of medical school we opted for stepping out of our comfort zones and traveling to Delhi, India with Child Family Health International to do a Public Health rotation. We will be working and learning from many people there over the next 2 weeks as well as taking in the culture and adventures around us. We are so excited to begin but first have to prepare. We have all received necessary vaccinations and medications and are packing the next couple of days. We have quite a long journey ahead of us but luckily we get to travel together. We will be writing on this blog almost daily to update everyone on what we are up to and what we are learning (dependent on access to the internet of course). I think this ends our first post but tune in at the end of the week if you want to follow our journey.
